We don't just care that our furniture looks good and is functional - we also care about how it's produced and that we take the best possible care of our shared earth.
Dencon is FSC certified®-certified. FSC® stands for Forest Stewardship Council® and is an international non-profit organisation and a labelling scheme for wood and paper that guarantees that the certified material is produced under responsible and climate-conscious conditions.
The majority of the materials used in our wood-based products are FSC®-certified materials. We document the products that have been produced by FSC®-certified material and this means that the product and its FSC®-certified components can be traced.
The certification ensures that the wood and paper come from responsible forestry, where no more trees are cut down than the forest itself can reproduce. In addition, FSC is® ensuring that animals and plant life are protected from extinction and that people working in the forest receive training, safety equipment and a decent wage. In addition, FSC contributes to® to at least 14 of the 17 SDGs.

Dencon is certified according to ISO 14001. This ensures that we have an environmental management system that effectively and easily documents our knowledge of the environmental impact of our production and products and ensures that we continuously reduce our environmental impact.
